Some of my favorite designs begin with exploring the relationship between simple forms. For The Balance Bracelet, I wanted to see how contrasting shapes could work together to create something that feels both structured and fluid.
Hand-textured sterling silver bars provide a clean, architectural foundation, while forged rings introduce movement and soften the geometry of the design. I love the way the circles create a visual pause between the two halves, allowing each element to stand on its own while contributing to the whole. Even the handcrafted toggle clasp becomes part of the composition rather than simply a way to fasten the bracelet.
Every element has a purpose. The textures add depth without overwhelming the design, the open circles create movement, and the clean lines keep the bracelet feeling timeless and easy to wear.
