The Large Round Layered Pendant
Some forms have a timeless quality to them. They feel familiar, even if you can't quite place why.
The Large Round Layered Pendant was inspired by my fascination with ancient jewelry and the way handcrafted objects carry the marks of the people who made them. Its layered sterling silver discs are individually textured by hand, creating a surface that feels weathered by time rather than polished to perfection.
At its center, a rose-cut gemstone catches the light with a soft, understated glow. The faceting is subtle and organic, allowing the stone's natural character to take center stage instead of overwhelming the design.
Suspended from an oxidized sterling silver box chain and finished with a hand-forged clasp, this pendant feels substantial without being heavy. It's a piece that pairs beautifully with everything from a simple linen shirt to an evening dress, carrying just enough presence to stand on its own.
Designed for women who appreciate craftsmanship, history, and jewelry with a sense of permanence, The Large Round Layered Pendant is made to become part of your own story.
Details:
• Handcrafted in sterling silver, featuring an 8mm gemstone
• Layered and textured for depth and dimension
• Lightly oxidized finish for a vintage, lived-in feel
• Pendant diameter: approximately 3/4”
• Chain length: 18”
Other lengths and other stones available upon request.
Looks great layered with the small version, also available.
About the stones:
Moss aquamarine: A stone that carries the mystery of mist-covered hills, moonlit canopies, and the calm stillness found only in nature’s sacred corners. The stone shimmers in earthy greens and stormy blues, like sunlight filtering through trees. Moss aquamarine is a member of the beryl family of gemstones with a characteristic pale silvery blue color with flecks of green or gold due to naturally occurring iron inclusions.
Labradorite: Flickers with hidden light—green, gold, blue—like a secret only the earth could keep. It’s known to create a shield for auras and protects against negativity in the world. Labradorite is known for its changing colors, so it is no surprise this gemstone is known as a stone of transformation, enhancing strength of will and inner worth.
Moss kyanite: A stone that carries the mystery of mist-covered hills, moonlit canopies, and the calm stillness found only in nature’s sacred corners. It shimmers in earthy greens and stormy blues, like sunlight filtering through trees. With its moss-like inclusions, is believed to promote emotional healing, tranquility, and connection to nature, while also enhancing meditation and fostering compassion.
Iolite: Known as the ‘Viking’s Compass,’ iolite reveals layers of blue and violet with every turn. Shifting in color with the light, iolite evokes the mystery of twilight skies. It is believed to help individuals find their way, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals.
